Our private parties are the best way to experience the fun and thrills of Inflatable World for your party or function with exclusive hire of all our inflatables!
Private parties are available on weekends including Friday nights for parties and functions. Varying packages are available depending on the size of your group. Ideal for:

Exclusive Hire
All packages are a standard 2 hour session with exclusive hire of the entire venue just for your group! Packages include tables and seating based on the package size, and coloured tablecloth for your tables.
We specialise in sports presentations, and can also include AV hire as part of your package (PA system and TV connection)
For school and OSHC/vacation care groups, as well as corporate groups, we can also tailor a package to suit your needs on a weekday as well.

How The PRIVATE BOOKING Works
- For online private bookings, you will receive an email after booking with a link to our Online Party Booking Form. This includes details for the hot food platters that can be ordered and your Party Guest List, which can be sent through the week prior to your party.
- Arrival on the day should be 20 minutes before your start time. See our friendly counter staff when you arrive and they will help sign you in and point out your party table.
- You may decorate your party area with a theme, including table-based and floor standing decorations like backdrops, balloons, cake stands and/or banners. (please speak to staff on arrival for the best location for these items to be placed)
- Private bookings include wristbands for guests to play on the equipment and tables and seating to match your package size, including a separate food/cake table.
- We are more than happy for parents to play – in fact, we encourage mums and dads to get in and have fun with their children!
- The inflatable play area is supervised by us so you can watch the kids at play or even better, get out there and have some fun yourself! However, please be aware that our Inflatable World supervisors’ responsibility is to supervise the correct use of the equipment and ensure all customers receive a fair turn.
They are not responsible for monitoring the behaviour of individual groups and as such you are responsible for the supervision of your guests.
Party & Event Food
You may bring your own party food (you cannot use our kitchen facilities to re-heat or store any food) or order hot food platters from us (pre-orders only) or do a combination of both.
Please note the only way you are able to BYO your own food & cake is through a pre-booked self-catered party. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
FAQs + Resources
Does the package include spectators or people not playing on the equipment?
We do not charge for spectators, and they are not included in the numbers for the package. Each package includes a set number of wristbands for people to play on the equipment, and tables and seating to match the number of wristbands (ie. Bronze package includes 50 bands and seating at the table for 50 people)
Can I order food from you and bring along some of my own food?
Yes, absolutely! Most parties do a combination of our hot food options and some snack options they provide. Or we can take care of it all!
If we have slightly more than our package includes, do we need to upgrade to the next level or can we pay for extra bands?
If you use a larger number of bands than your package includes, we can just charge for the extra bands on top of the package cost. This will be finalised on the day of the booking once all guests have arrived. The charge is our standard entry price for each additional band; if you use extras that takes you past the next package, we will then cap the cost at that higher package price. For any questions, please speak to Management.
If parents bring siblings along or extra children, can they pay for them separately?
As private parties are not open to the public, it is up to each individual party as to whether they would be happy for people to bring along extras. There are 2 options available. Firstly, we add extras to your guest list and include them as part of the bands or you pay for them as an additional band if you go over the included numbers. Otherwise, we can charge separately for extra bands on the day when people arrive at our standard entry price. Please speak to Management to clarify this on the day of your booking.
Can we have someone come in to provide a service for our party like a clown or character?
Outside companies/services can be included as part of your private party, including characters or clowns. These would need to be approved by Management BEFORE the day of the party. Please note face painters and catering companies cannot be included as part of these services.
Is there an age limit for the castles?
Our castles are available for anyone to play on that is of walking age, adults included! For any children under 5 they will require an adult to play on the equipment with them at all times.
Can I make changes to our guest list on the day?
Yes, you can adjust the list on the day if required, and we will not charge you for anyone that doesn’t turn up if they are an extra guest.
Is there a minimum number required to host our party? What if less turn up on the day?
Our private party packages are a set cost so the price will remain the same but you’re welcome to come along and have a great time anyway! You can also add extras on the day if needed to make up the numbers.

We had our sons 8th Birthday at Inflatable World on the weekend. It was a much more pleasant experience than the last one we had when it was extreme inflatable. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful. The food came out at a good time. It was a nice easy care free party. Thanks for doing the hard work for us.

We recently held our daughter’s 5th birthday party at Inflatable World Modbury as a private event on a Saturday evening, and it was fantastic! The venue was excellent, we were able to bring our own food and some drinks, and also made use of their bar. All the parents commented on how relaxed the evening was since we didn’t have to chase after our kids and could actually enjoy ourselves. The children had an absolute blast running wild with their friends, and it was great that they had the whole space to themselves without older kids around. Hosting a private session also made it affordable enough to invite the whole class, which was a big plus. We’d highly recommend Inflatable World Modbury as a party venue and would definitely consider hosting future parties here for our other kids!
